Special Life Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centre (Special Life Centre ) is a project of Sneh Social Welfare Foundation, an institution working to empower children with special needs or children having development challenges. Special Life Centre was set up as a registered society in 2016. Special Life Centre is a part of Sneh Social Welfare Foundation registered under the Society Registration Act 1860, 12A, 80G, PF, ESI, Niti Aayog, CSR Activities & ISO Certified, registered under the Act 2016 of Rights of Person with Disabilities, Registered under The National Trust, Registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 2010 & Accredited Centre of NIOS for OBE Programme
Special Life Centre believes in the principle that every child is equal and has something unique in them. Children with special needs can explore and grow, despite the difficulties to cope up with time to develop their intellectuality. They have challenges along with unique qualities and abilities; generally, one cannot find in ordinary people, and this makes them distinct from others.
We at Special Life Centre explore the cognitive skills and help the children progress with time in an inclusive environment.
Our center provide assessment and therapy facility to those children who are facing problem like autism, intellectual disability ,learning disability, down syndrome and cerebral palsy as per their requirements and needs.
We are providing professional services like psychologist ,special educator, speech therapist, occupational therapist and physiotherapist as per requirement of parent's and organisation.
Our center continue doing community training and awareness program for the welfare of person's with disability. The moto of community programme is to create awareness in the society regarding rights of persons with disability and facilities provided by government for them.
Special Life Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centre (Special Life Centre ) works on different types of challenges like Asperger's Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, OCD, Tourette's Syndrome, Down syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Hearing impaired, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Aphasia and Learning Disability.
Despite an increased risk of mental and physical health problems in adolescents with special needs, there is limited research on effective approaches for individuals with special needs. Special Life Centre performs research analysis, prepares the assessment report and provides rehabilitation for the differently-abled. We work towards rendering support, consultation, spreading awareness, helping children to grow independently and becoming successful in life.
